I was really excited about the reunion and I looked forward to seeing all of you at the Roosevelt on 10/2/04. It took 18 months to plan and it was well worth it. It was a fabulous night and I personally thank each of you that attended. I hope to see even more of our class at our 30th in 2014.
Please add your comments in the guest book and upload your photos directly to the site. They can be of you, your families, your pets, your favorite vacation pics, your fondest memories from high school and/or grammar school. Group shots are great too. The more the merrier. If you see your photo on the site and would like it removed, please email me and I will take it off.
The posted pictures were used for a special presentation at the reunion and each attendee received a copy of the slideshow on a CD. I hope everyone has enjoyed it. I know how much fun it was to make it and how many memories it brought back for me.
Please help keep your contact information current with the B.H.H.S. Alumni Association or through our class website. Please email me your name, mailing address, phone number and email address to info@bh84reunion.com so that I can get you the information for the 30th when the time comes.
Again, thanks to each of you for making it such a successful evening. Until we meet again... Elisa (Lenore) Kotin
Wow hello to all, I can't believe that the 20 year is almost upon us. It seems like only day before yesterday that we had the 10 year. My Niece Allison is a freshman at Beverly and it just blows me away! So here is to all of us and I can't wait to see everyone at the Reunion. Feel free to e-mail me if you'd like to catch up on the good ol' times.................and the current times!
I am so looking forward to this reunion! My fiancé, Tammy Zarchi (also class of 84') and I have a lot of great memories of Beverly. We spent a lot of time partying over at "the wall". To me, the meaning of irony is that I am on this reunion committee! I would like to thank the other committee members for all the time and hard work that has been put into the details of this event. And that is what a 20 year reunion is, an event. This is an occasion to reconnect with friends. For some us, friendships that go back 30+ years. I can't wait to see everybody!
I am looking forward to the great weekend that is planned for the 84' reunion. I can't believe it has been almost 20 years since Beverly. I have a daughter almost the age I was when I first went to Beverly. It was while in Beverly Vista in 8th grade that I went steady with Dean Clements (also class of 84'). Dean and I are pleased to announce our engagement. I will be Tammy Clements by our 20 year reunion. I would like to extend our gratitude to Elisa Kotin who has put a lot of time & dedication into this website and planning this reunion.
Hi friends! It's been a long time since I've seen many of you throughout the years, and yet I have been able to keep in touch with some of my high school friends. Some friends I kept in touch with, others I found through friends, others just by chance...it really IS a small world. However, we now live all over the place, so I'm glad that we have a place/website where we can find even more of our classmates. Please tell the classmates that you've kept in touch with about this website so that we can compile as many names and email addresses, etc. as possible, so that our reunion is as complete and fun as possible. I'm looking forward to hearing the stories we have to share. After all, it's been a whopping 20 years! See you sooner than you think...time flies these days (now that we're old...haha)! Talk to you soon, Beth p.s. Thanks to Elisa Kotin for getting the ball rolling and this reunion off the ground!
When I was first contacted by Beth and Elisa, I had no idea I would become so involved. As the date draws nearer, I find myself anxiously anticipating seeing each and everyone again! I don't think I ever had such close friendships as I did with my class and I look forward to rekindling those bonds.
20 years, I can't believe it. Things sure have changed. I'm married, have two wonderful daughters: Natalle 18 months & Sophie 5 years. I live in Sherman Oaks and I would love to hear from any of my "old" classmates. I have lost touch with most of you and can't wait to catch up. I heard that the "Class of '83" reunion was a blast and I can't wait to out do them! Wendy, thank you for contacting me.
I skipped the tenth reunion and I barely remember any of you. I am currently an Associate Professor of Neuroscience at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and therefore I have fulfilled my ultimate geek potential. As for the rest of you, what the hell have you been doing for the last 20 years?!?!? Me: Married, 3 kids (7, 5 and 3...all evil), still addicted to the acquisition of motorcycles. I am neither fat nor bald, but hey, there's always hope for the 30th! If I was mean to you I am sorry. If I was nice to you I probably was being insincere. See you at the 20th! Jack
Two decades since highschool - unbelievable! I used to think those people were old. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year. Parents still in same house in BH (since 1964). I am now in Newport Beach, with wife, two kids and a dog. Started my own tax practice in Irvine 4 years ago. Life is good.
Well, can't believe I am actually updating my info for my BH graduating class. Thought I would never do such a thing... However, just by coincidence I came across the BH Watchtower from 1981 (freshman) several weeks ago trying to get rid of stuff in the attic. Well, I couldn't believe how many faces and personalities I remembered (I still had to look up the names, my memory isn't that good), and then received a phone call from Wendy Kaplan/Boots and well here I am... I am currently a Marine Biologist for Channel Islands National Park and run a long-term kelp forest monitoring program. I am currently living in Ventura and don't have any dogs, cats, kids, am single, but I just got three chickens two months ago! I have made it to all the continents except Africa (but I was within 100 miles) and have been above and below water in most of these places. I haven't had a TV since I graduated from Beverly. OK, that should have you wondering what did I turn into or maybe not, but you probably have a smile on your face. Wendy, thanks for contacting me.
Nice to hear from Wendy Kaplan about a 20 year reunion. Let's see now who has lost more hair and has the most amount of kids! -Brad
Hi everyone, Just a little note to say hello to all. You can always email me, I'd love to hear from you. I can't believe it's been 20 years already. How time flies when you're having fun! I am married and have 2 kids. My oldest is a girl, 3 years, and her name is Elizabeth. I also have a young boy, 7 months now, named Kurtis. I look forward to catching up with all of you at the reunion. I know that I'll be there! Jane :)
Wow twenty years are here. It's so hard to believe that the time has gone by so fast . I think of those days a lot and can't wait to see who is still around, who has kids ,who has any hair left :) and just talk about the old days (OLD , OUCH).SEE YOU ALL SOON I HOPE. GOD BLESS MIRKO
I'm married and living in the Valley. I have 3 children, ages 2 mo, 5yr and 6 yr.I am a pediatrician practicing part-time. There has been no major drama in my life. I'm looking forward to the reunion since I was unable to make the 10yr.
I am psyched to have the reunion on my 38th Birthday. What a great way to celebrate 20 years of being able to vote. Married with 2 kids and living close by in Beverlywood. I visited BHHS recently and the school looks like sh_t. I think they are still using the same desks from our year. They are definitely using the same lockers. Still in touch with a lot of old BHHS classmates and really old friends from Hawthorne class of '80. Sad to hear about some schoolmates who got sick and won't be at reunion. Nevertheless looking forward to seeing and reliving - GB
I recall most of your names - some of you I even know from elementary school. I moved to europe many years ago...I miss LA a lot, especially the beach. I have no roots here. I look forward to the reunion, although no one will recognise me now. Who I really want to see again? Trista Dagodag and the other nice kids from Beverly Vista. Jeff Heimler, my ma still lives down da block, maybe they should meet up and have tea?
Well its been many years and many miles since the old days at Beverly. Who would have guessed this pre-med inclined geek would end up in finance, Mortgages to be exact. Even I wouldn't have guessed it. Still playing tennis though, guess playing on the team did have some lasting benefits. After graduating from USC, life has taken me to Seattle, then to Colorado. I lost touch with many, and regret that. Those who wish to see me, and my sister Rhonda, who is now married to Larry Gelfond, both class of 82, can visit my page at http://hometown.aol.com/aceans1966/myhomepage/photo.html Once again single, with three amazing border collies, and living in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, 20 min sw of Denver. I look forward from hearing from those that care to drop a hello. Andrew
I can't wait to see you all!!! Great job!!!!
I cannot wait to see you all again. Seeing your names brings back so many fond memories. Elisa (the whole reunion committee)....since you are doing such a great job with BH84 reunion...what about a BV1980 reunion??? I'll help! I am excited to say that I am moving back to Los Angeles from Michigan and I can't wait to be home!!! After reading everyones comments...I have MANY questions!!! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX
Looking forward to seeing you all again. I did go to the BHHS 75th a few months ago and saw Beth and a few others. Even saw a few teachers. Met the new principal and he is younger than us. I still live in So Cal...Palos Verdes Estates...it's nice sort of has a small town appeal and I am right near the water. I really just keep in touch with just a couple of classmates. Though I have not seen my prom date, Scott Weisman since the prom, I do keep in touch with him via email. I am an attorney but right now I am a SAHM with my TWINS - Brandon & Sabrina. They are growing up sooo fast and I don't want to miss a thing. Just look how fast these past 20 years have gone by. My folks still live in the same house and I do get to BH quite often. I still buy my kiddies shoes at the same store I got mine...Harry Harris. I have a website www.riceadditions.com that I update regularly. Would love to hear from you. Looking forward to Oct. '04
Thanks, Wendy, for contacting me...I'm hard to find, now that I live in central Pennsylvania (brrr, it's cold here). I've lived up and down the east coast for 15 years and ended up here because my husband got a job teaching history at Penn State. I was a journalist before we got here, and now I'm doing PR for the university, part-time. We've got a two-year-old daughter named Vivian. I'm not sure yet if I'll be able to make it to the reunion...but I'd love to hear from anyone from my past! Take care, Melissa
After graduating from UCSD in 1990 (I was on the 6 year slacker plan!) I sort of moved to Israel and have lived here almost continuously since 1991. Long story. I live in Betar Illit ("upper Betar"), a name associated with the Bar Kochba revolt against Rome of 132-135. I work as a computer consultant and contract programmer (big surprise). I've been married since 1994, and have 3 sons -- 2 six-year-old twins and 1 three-year-old. The youngest, seeing his older brothers, thinks he's 6, of course. I've run into or been in contact with a few 84 alumni over the years. I'd like to attend attend the reunion, and hope it works out.
Oh my gosh! Has it really been almost 20 years? I haven't kept in touch with very many of you. I am curious/exited to go the reunion and reconnect. I left LA for a few years to go to college and enjoy clean air, but I was drawn back here. I love LA but I have to hike frequently to get my fill of greenery. I am living in Westwood (same place as I was at the 10 year) with my 2 kitties, Tristin and Berkeley. I pay my bills by working for the City of Santa Monica, managing their Computer Helpdesk. My soul work is Psychotherapy and I'm currently studying for my State Board examinations for Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a little Psychotherapy Practice in Santa Monica, in a suite with some wonderful people.
See you all soon!
Well this should be exciting! Wow 20 years, I feel so old...
I am really looking forward to seeing many of you. The 10 year reunion was fantastic, thanks in advance to the organizers of the 20 year. After graduation for University of Arizona(with some fellow classmates) in 1988, I found myself moving to San Francisco Bay Area to chase my now wife, Melissa from Piedmont, CA. We have been married for 11 years with 3 great kids(ages 4 ,6 & 7), a cat, dog and fish. I own my own insurance brokerage firm(Baybenefits) in Downtown San Francisco. When not chasing business or kids I really love to play golf, travel and drag myself to fitness "boot camps" to keep in shape. I too am neither fat or bald and never had any plastic surgery. I keep in touch with several classmates regularly and want to organize a golf tournament the weekend of the reunion if anyone is interested. My email is jr@baybenefits.com. All the best ! JR

hello everyone
After graduating San Diego State in '89, I worked for four years in environmental public awareness in San Diego. I left in 1994 on a one-way ticket to India. After 15 months in the Far East, Israel, Egypt, Jordan, London, etc.-- I returned to San Diego to start a teaching credential program back at SDSU in Jan. '95. I took off for Damascus during the summer break, travelling through Syria, Jordan and back to Jerusalem for what I thought would be a 5-week-long study session. On the day I was scheduled to fly home via Amsterdam, I chucked my ticket and ended up staying in Jerusalem for the next five years. I got married to beautiful Lori four years ago in Jerusalem, and we have two of the cutest daughters anyone's ever seen-- Zohar, age 3, and Temma, age one-and-a-half. We've been living in Boston for the past two-and-a-half years. Please email if you remember me or my crazy, hoodlum friends-- ChuckE, Dave Kolsky, Dean, Larry, etc.--from those days at BHHS.
Hi there! I happened to find out about this reunion while browsing through internet. Ever since I graduated from Beverly High, I came back to Japan. Now, I live in a place called Koto ward (city), Tokyo. Oh, I wish everything goes well..and I hope I could join this reunion, too. (For that, I really have to look and find good job that pays well! Lol) Now, I'm registerred to several agencies, working as temp...doing mostly secretarial, clerk jobs. Being bilingual (still) is quite handy. :) I would love to communicate with anyone who remembers about me.. See ya!
Gosh! Has it been that long? They weren't kidding when they said life is short! Good to see some friendly faces from the past! I have a beautiful 18 year old daughter who graduated in 2002. A beautiful 11 year old daughter and a wonderful 19 month old daughter who is the joy of our lives! Their Daddy and I have been together for 20 years and are still madly in love! We live in Nashville, but plan on moving back to LA next year because the kids demand that they pursue acting careers! If you can't beat 'em... I'm still friends with Courtney Lemmon, and will let her know about the site!
Hello BHHS 84 Grads (& especially BV Grads), I'm looking forward to seeing my past classmates all grown up! I live in Hong Kong now but travels extensively (in Asia, Europe, and US) for work and play :) ! Should anyone be visiting my side of world, please let me know if you need help with travel plans, etc. My siblings (along with some of yours) - Mike (class of 85) lives in NYC, Angel (class of 87) lives in HK with her fiance, Tim, Cissy (class of 88) lives in Rutherford with husband-Louis and 2 kids, Frank (class of 91) lives in Ohio with his fiance, Sripha. I do remember many of you but better brush up on my yearbook before 2nd OCT! Thanks to the BH84 committee! xoxo Mary YY CHAN
Rather than bore you all with lot's of text, I'll give it in short form: 1) Was a TV sitcom writer, but game shows, reality shows and family life dictated a change was in order; 3) Got my MBA from UCLA last year; 4) Now in real estate investments and development; 5) Have 2 kids (5 & 7); 6) Live in Encino. 7) Married almost 12 yrs. See ya!
Hi all- It really made my morning to read the e-mail updates from everyone and to see all of the pictures. They really bring back good memories. As for me, I've been married for the past 11 years to a wonderful man, Gary. We have a five year-old (going on 25) daughter Laurel and live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We came here 10 years ago for Gary to go to grad school and never left. I work as the Director of the Career Development Center, a career counseling/job search assistance, non-profit agency. It is gratifying work and never boring. My husband is the Director of the Green Building Alliance which consults with businesses on building environmentally friendly structures. As I'm sure for most of you, kids and work keep you pretty busy!! Hope to see you at the reunion. Thanks to the committee for all of the hard work that is going into it! Best regards, Sharyn
Hello everybody. I had fun reading your comments. I do remember most of you (Hey Jack Lipton, I remember you from Beverly Vista). Kevin Shale-We need to go motorcycle riding (I have a 600 Suzuki Katana). I received a lot of telephone calls during my gubernatorial campaign from classmates from high school, college, and law school. For recent photos regarding me, please visit my website at www.bestcounsel.com. I married Nicole, the woman I brought to the 10th reunion. It was funny that all the lawyers at the table (you know who you are) were hitting on my date that evening! I wore my high school football jacket (It is going to be difficult to wear it at this reuinion considering it is for a size 44 and I am a size 48 regular) I have a 15 year old stepdaughter (help me!), a two year old daughter, and a baby boy on the way (due date July 17). We live in Sherman Oaks, California. Looking forward to seeing each of you at the reunion!
Hi everyone! And just when I thought I could put those High School years behind me it is time for a reunion. Well, I have been married for a really long time now--18 years. My husband is in the Marine Corps, we met at USC, we have three pretty amazing kids-- Trevor 13 yrs, Riley 10 yrs, and Emily 5yrs. They keep me pretty busy but next year when my little one is in 1st grade I plan on going back to teaching History at the community college level. Hard to believe I ended up with an MA in history, especially considering I'm sure Coach Douglas only passed me in American history to keep me on the swim team! I look forward to seeing everyone again!
This site is very cool! Great job Elisa!
Hi everyone, Hat's off to "Elisa" for creating such a terrific web site! And thank-you for getting "in touch" with me. I too have lost touch with just about everyone from the "Beverly" days. After leaving Beverly and obtaining my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Pepperdine University (and working for awhile at Guess? as a Senior Buyer), I got married. Been married about 7 years. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. They are 3 and 5. I'm now a "Stay-at-Home Mom" and just love it! We have a nice house in the South Bay and really enjoy the area. It was really neat to read how you folks are doing (especially those I've had classes with). Looking forward to seeing you at the reunion...Take care.
Hi all, I'm in NYC for the last 9 years now. I have run a basketball league at a ymca in nyc for the last 7 years, and about a year ago started doing Teen Interventions, which has been tough but very rewarding. I hope to be moved back to LA by the time of the reuinion, but if not I'll definetly be there!!!When I move back out I will still do the Interventions, but also pick up on an accting career I've put on hold for a year and a half. From 98-2001 I acted in 14 off-off broadway shows and did a couple student films. I hope i won't hear what i heard at the 10 year reunion, which was I can't believe you're alive. Well I have been through allot since Beverly, but i'm a survivor baby!! Peace and Love, Walt
Hi Everyone, Its great to catch up on everyone and hear what they are up to now. I now live back in Beverly Hills after living in NYC for many years. I married a New Yorker and had a NY Baby-she's 10 now. I wanted my daughter to have good schools so naturally I'm back in BH. I worked in the Nightclub Industry in NYC-singing,promoting and managing Clubs. Now back in LA I am a Director for the LA Westside Bruin Athletics Assoc. We run the BH/Westside Bruin Youth Tackle Football Team and Cheer Squads. I also sit on the Board of the Valley Youth Conference for Youth sports. For those of you who still live in West LA, if anyone has girls 7-14 who are intersted in Cheerleading this fall for the Boys teams email me to sign up. Or if you have a boy who would like to sign up to play tackle football. I am enjoying being back on the West Coast again and traveling all over the western states with my family. Take care and I will see you all at the reunion!
Seems like I am one of several grads that ended up moving to Israel! I moved here in 1989 and got married the next year. I am a stay at home mom to my 5 kiddies (3 boys, 2 girls) in Ra'anana, near Tel Aviv. I am looking forward to seeing everybody at the reunion.
Hi There- I have run into many of the classmates through the years but there are so many I haven't seen. I hope all of you are happy and that your dreams are comming true. I am looking very forward to seeing everybody at the reunion. I would love to hear from anybody who's looking to connect. Drop a line, tell me how your life is and I'll fill you in as well. Looking forward to it, Nikki Kramer Alpert
Hello Classmates! Can you believe it's been twenty years already? I cant! I'm looking forward to our evening together in October!
hi, i am currently living in Connecticut. I have been here for 12 years. I am now on my way back to LA and I heard you were having a reunion. The websit is great. Keep me updated. Great job!
Thanks Elisa and crew for a fabulous website. Hello to all. After touring with a band for several years, I stepped off that ride and re-engaged academically. I just finished a degree in comparative religions and am preparing to either do a Ph.D in the "women and religion" program at Claremont or go to law school. We shall see. I'm happily living in LA with my spouse of 5 years and our three stupid cats. Please will someone take two of them? I'm excited about the reunion and can't wait to catch up with all of you.
Has it really been 20 years?! Amazing how quickly time flies! I’m still single and I don’t have any children, but I’ve accomplished quite a bit in two decades. I won’t bore you with a lengthy list—Google Search me if you’re interested! My next big adventure begins in July of this year—I was awarded a Presidential Fellowship (their highest academic honor) to begin a doctoral program at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. However, I’ll definitely be back in L.A. on October 2nd. See you at the Reunion! :-)
It will be great to see all of you. I don't have to travel too far as I am a Valley Dude. No Nobel prizes to report; haven't committed any major crimes. I will be married 15 years this year. I have a great 8 year old son named Robert (Bob). Life is good! Please feel free to e-mail to say hi!
Hi, I saw that you had Karyn Grossman's contact info, if so, please give her my email or give me hers, we were BEST FRIENDS and lost contact over the years... Thank you, Claudie cmichel@tf.fr
It is nice to here that so many of you are coming to our 20th reunion, I am looking forward to seeing all of you there. Thank you so much to all of you on our reunion commitee for all of your valuable time and effort to making Octobers event a success. I am currently into commercial real estate investments. I have been married for 14 years. We have 2 children and are living in the Antelope Valley. Have a nice summer and we will see you in October.
Wow! It just doesn't feel like it's been 20 years! It's really flown by! I've lost contact with most everyone from our class, but am still in contact with friends from the class of '83. Since the reunion is coming up, I've thought a lot about the old days and am looking forward to seeing what everyone has been up to. I've been married for 14 years to a Dutchman I met while visiting Amsterdam after college graduation. We live in Valencia and have 3 children - ages 7, 5 and 1. I quit my job as a graphic designer for computer games to stay home and raise the kids. It's been great and life is good! All of you on the reunion committee are doing a fantasitc job! Thank you for taking the time and effort to put all this together for us! See you in October!
Since I left Beverly... I joined the United States Marine Corps. Then off to Claremont McKenna College, where I received my Bachelors in International Business. Since then I have been working as a promoter for various events around the United States. I have a 7 year daughter (Madelyn) who is my pride and joy!
I can't believe it's been 20 years! I haven't been in touch with many people from our class over the years so it will be great to catch up at the reunion. I'm married with two boys, 5 years old and 7 months and currently the VP, Human Resources for Maxim Pharmaceuticals (not to be confused with Maxim Magazine)! We currently live in Del Mar, so if you're in town for the races, look us up. Otherwise, see you in October.
WOW, Great site!!! Class of 82' was my graduating class. E-mail me Normans and let's catch up !!! I miss all of you dearly.

Hey it's been a long time since i had memories of Beverly.....with raising a family it's nice to think about the good times that i had there. I have a beautiful daughter Christina who is almost 6 years old and i just had a Boy Nicholas 11 weeks ago...he is equally adorable and looks just like his sister. I had a rough road but i knew with time my life would eventually come together and be complete. I took the wrong detour in life and realised after i had lost alot of me that i was in desperate need of a change. My husband is an Executive Chef and does alot of cooking demos on TV and newspaper locally where we live....we are without a doubt Happy and Pleased with the way our lives have gone so far. We've been together for over 7 years and Married 5 years. I truly believe that GOD intended for me to go through all in my life so when i get to this point i will be ecstatic with the way things have worked themselves out and Beverly is one experience that will be forever embedded in my head. If you do remember me and want to get a hold of me than please do so.....Pinkymagic1@dc.rr.com Thanks and Happy 20 Years Colleen
Can't wait to see everyone in October!!!!
I miss you guys. I just got out of prison this week can't to see you in Oct. Mean while I work in TV and I can be seen Tuesday night on Last Comic Standing.
I can't believe it's been 20 years!! I'm living in LA, married with 3 kids.
Hello, all...I, too, am really looking forward to catching up with many of my elementary school (Hawthorne/Beverly Vista) friends. I hope that the turn out is really strong. Thank you to the coordinators! I currently live in Scottsdale, AZ with my wife of 11 years and two sons, 6 and 3. I missed the 10 year reunion, but am not going to repeat that mistake! Take care, and see you in October. Dean
I know it can't be our 20th year reunion, because I am not ready to grow up yet
I've adopted 12 differently-abled children. We built our own boat and sailed around the world. When not sailing, I live in a trailer down by the river. I'm not bald but I am fat. BFFE! Have a great summer! Call me!
I live in Northern Cal with my husband and my 2 kids. They're lovely. We see uncle Eric and his 12 differently-abled children a lot. We even helped build the boat. See you there. BFFE!! Call me, 'kay?
Remember me. Spent more time crashing Beverly functions then I did going to Beverly "HIGH"..... IIIIMMMM BAAAACK! See ytou all at the 20.
It's great to hear from some of you. I look forward to the reunion. What a fabulous job the committee has done! Happy Labor Day.. Best to All, Andrea
It's terrific that the committee has been so spirited and organised in pulling together the 20th reunion. I am sorry that I will miss the big event as I will be in Shanghai. If former classmates are passing through Europe (where my husband Paolo, son Marcello, daughter Jacqueline, and I live), please let me know. It's always great to see/hear from old friends. Email is best to reach me. Have fun! Linda
Wow. Since I joined the committee, the response has been great! One of my greatest hopes is I can reunite as many classmates who attended Hawthorne as possible! I also made wonderful friendships at Beverly, and I want to see each and every one of you all as well! When you can, please email me or call me at: Home: 310-205-6378 or Cell: 310-749-2999 and let me know if you will be able to attend. Most importantly, update me with your current information including address, email and contact numbers. I received so many emails over this Labor Day Weekend. It brought back so many wonderful memories, and, if you can't attend but just want to stay in touch, I greatly look forward to hearing from you soon! With much love and anticipation, Andrew
Alas, I shall not be at the reunion. One of my college friends is having a bachelor party in Vegas Oct 1-3. So I had to choose between debauchery in Vegas or 20th High School Reunion. Debauchery in Vegas ... High School Reunion ...Debauchery in Vegas ... High School Reunion ...Debauchery in Vegas ... High School Reunion ... DEBAUCHERY IN VEGAS!!! WOO HOO!!!! Sorry! Jack
I, regretfully, cannot attend the reunion. I now live in New York City with my husband, Don, and our two boys, Derrick (9), and Dylan (5). We go back to Beverly Hills every Summer. I'd love to hear from old friends. Please feel free to drop me an e-mail.
Wow, three weeks and counting! I currently live in the San Francisco Bay area, have been married for 12 years and have a 9 yr old, 6 yr old and a 10 month old. I am a full time mom; but, in my working days, I was a social worker/ child therapist. I missed the 10 year reunion because my husband's reunion was the same night so I am looking forward to the 20th and catching up with everyone.
wow!!!what a trip!!! I can't believe how old I am.... I have been living the good life at the beach in san diego. I train racehorses for a living and surf for fun. see y'all 10/02/04 pete miller
Just so the P.C. police don't lock me away (and it could happen -- I live in Berkeley): Most of what I wrote before is not true. However, I am very fortunate that Lisa Coleman and Laura Bloch live nearby and I can be Uncle Eric to their kids. (Also, for Diane's little one when I visit SoCal.) Otherwise, I work at UC San Francisco on prostate cancer research -- in my job, I am a statistician, data analyst, data manager. Looking foward to seeing you all in a few weeks. PS-- Kathy B, Julie H, Devra L we have not heard from you -- please contact!
I have just perused the website and am feeling, more than anything else, old (classmates with 18-year old children?). Quite funny to see the photos from the 80's. I've managed to lose most of them and have forgotten how much it was another time and place (and fashion sense). I do hope the reunion is good fun--I unfortunately cannot attend due to a business commitment in Europe, where I've been living for the past 15+ years. So I wish you all the best and sincerely hope this committee reconstitutes itself for our 25th reunion. Thanks again for contacting all of us and organizing the event. Good luck with it. PS Special thanks to Tony Kontzer, without whom it looks like Horace Mann wouldn't have posted any photos on the website...And I remember that birthday party--Stairway to Heaven played for what seemed like the entire night. Never was a broom closet so romantic...
I cant wait to see every one, especially Richard Jastrow. Hey Richard,I just got married to a wonderfull Israeli guy. He is also a Beverly alumni. I am not great with computers,I'm on my husbands, what can I say I'm a hair colorist , not very interested in computers, now I'm paying for it ugh. Any way see you at the reunion.
Wow!! Hard to believe. cant wait!! RC
It has been nice catching up with so many of you. I posted a current pic at http://us.f2.yahoofs.com/users/4151fdccz76866e05/andrewnolanstone/__sr_/fe7d.jpg?pfFSgUBBLYGdbNKP I know its a long cut and paste, but I know most of you can do it!!!! I wont be attending the reunion due to committments, but I will be down to visit my family around the end of Nov/Beginning of Dec, for those that may want to catch up.
YOU HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL JOB, ELISA KOTIN... EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT!!!!!!!!
I've been living in New York for nearly ten years now, raising two sweet daughters (7 and 2) with my husband of nearly fifteen years. We're both academics--I teach early American literature at Barnard College, and he teaches law at Fordham. I'm sad to be missing the reunion again; I had hoped that this time I'd be able to make the trip west. But I'd love to hear from friends with whom I've lost touch. And I'm grateful for the friendships that have survived time and distance.
First, let me say what a great website! It has been so much fun reading what everyone is up to and seeing some great pictures. For me, since graduating Beverly and USC, I have been in the real estate business. I worked on a great project in S.F. called Metreon and now own a small consulting firm and am living in London. I have a fiancee and no kids, but love life here and feel very fortunate. If anyone is traveling to London, I would love to here from you. I am sorry that I won't be able to make the reunion. I hope everyone has a great time!
Hi All --- I'm so looking forward to this weekend. It's been fun just looking at the old & new pictures on the website. And I'm eager to reconnect with all the many people I've lost touch with & hear how everyone's lives have unfolded... --- As for me, my partner & I live between New York & New Orleans. I teach American history down at Tulane, but during summer breaks & what not, we're in New York. So far, it's just us & our cat & dog, but we're working on the kid thing (it's a little tricky for 2 gay men) & hopefully a year or so from now, we'll be parents... --- Actually, a few of us have been chatting about getting together with other folks who are 'out' from our class (or want to be) at some point over the weekend - maybe after the picnic - and if that interests you, send me an email or look for me at the reunion... --- See you all soon!
WOW! I can't wait for this coming weekend! Who knew? Time really does fly! Yikes! We're all so old! I still have my hair, thank GOD! Thank you, Tony Kontzer, for all the great pix!! TOO funny! I'm separated, but have two great girls, 8 & 6. We live in Pasadena and are in BH ALL the time! Can't wait to see you all! LOVE, Bets!
Greetings from San Francisco. Better late than never to add my hello! Looking forward to seeing you all very soon. Thank you to the reunion organizers for all your work.
High School was a lot of fun. I enjoyed it and will not forget all the good times. I live outside of Boston for about 11 years now and have 2 kids Justin and Darrien. Wish I could be at the re-union, but it just didn't work out that way. Hope everybody has a great time......Henry
I'm sorry to miss the reunion this year. I almost came with Stacy Berman and Jenene Sheppard, but couldn't make it at the last minute. My family and I moved from L.A. to Ohio earlier this year, and we're still getting adjusted. It's a big change from L.A., but a great place to raise a family. I'm a lawyer and a mother of two. I have a 2 1/2 year old son and a nine month old girl. They give me tons of happiness. My husband, Brian, is a nice Jewish boy from the midwest. We've been married for four years. I couldn't ask for more. The website made me nostalgic for the old days. I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me from then. Enjoy the reunion!
I don't know if anyone will read this, but I wanted to extend a big thank you to the reunion committee for a job well done. I enjoyed reconnecting with old friends, especially all the BV people. I am looking forward to the 30th and hope to see everyone there.
Hey, I'm sure you think I dropped off the face of the earth after graduating HM in '80. I moved to the Valley (oh, my God!) after my mom remarried, so I never attended Beverly. Still, I recall all HM alumni with great fondness. My wife, Laura and I live in the OC and we have four children, including 10 month old twins. I was ordained as a rabbi in 1995 and currently serve the congregation in Fullerton. I wasn't invited to the reunion, but hope you all had a great time. I hope to work on a HM 25 year reunion for next year!!!! Please be in touch!!!
hi! i'm trying to find Alona Kashanian. are you out there? please email me!
I'm looking for my good friend Antonio Quinn... Last in San Franciso. Anyone know more?
A bit after the fact for the reunion, but I thought I'd say hello to everyone anyway. Besides wondering about Antonio Quinn (previous posted question), I also am curious about Mina Nosrati, Cathy Harding, Anita Maya and Alan the crazy Russian. I live in the lush Pacific Northwest with my amazing husband Tim (of only 1 1/2 years), our 3 cats and my horse. I'm a stepmother to Samantha and Mike and work as a professional horsewoman, dividing my time and money between horses and travel. Before getting married, I spent most of 2002 backpacking around the world. Phew, I'm tired. If anyone wants to say hey to this former skinny heavy metal chick (the skinny part is still nearly true, tastes in music have grown...) - the address is above!
You all did such a good job with your site here. I got a huge kick out of the photos page that had old class photos from Horace Mann. My reunion was last year 1983 at the Sofitel. It was a lot fun. You all take care.-al
